1. What do I do if I get an error message "Error: HTTP request failed"?
Please talk to your IT department to make sure port 443 is open.

2. What do I do if I get the message "username/password invalid" when logging in?
Verify the user name and password you are entering is correct. If you forgot your password you can request to reset your password through the Support page.

3. What if I get an "incompatible version" error?
Upgrade to the current version of DFexplore.

4. Do I need a high speed internet connection?
DSL or higher connection is recommended for DFexplore. A slower connection will result in slower response times and possibly dropped connections.

5. What type of computer should I use?
Versions of DFexplore are available for: Windows 8/10, OS X v10.11 or later, and Linux.

6. What is the ip address of explore.fstrf.org?
192.68.108.239

7. How do I submit non-CRF data (Pathology reports, patient-completed questionnaires, etc.)?
Non-CRF data should be submitted thru DFsend. Faxing is allowed, but DFsend is recommended as it is a direct transmission of the PDF File into DFexplore. Please refer to the User Manual for more details.

8. What if I am unable to download DFexplore?
DFnavigator is available via web browser (https://dfp.fstrf.org/) and does not require a download. It looks and functions the same as DFexplore. NOTE: DFsend is not available via web browser. If using DFnavigator, all non-CRF data must be submitted via fax.

9. Why am I being auto-logged out?
There is an auto-logout feature. It is set to log out after 5 minutes of inactivity. You can change the time (up to 30 minutes) by going to File-Preferences.

10. Can I view and reply to queries in DFexplore?
Yes. Please refer to the User Manual for details.

11. Whom should I contact if I have problems with DFexplore or faxing issues?
Please contact us through one of the support categories on the Support page or by email at datafax.user.support@fstrf.org.
